Gerardo Mari regarding education is a visiting professor for worldwide institutions of design and creativity.

Based in his long lasting experience as a designer and projects for design companies developing products, he has develop a very effective method of teaching design where the students learn many creativity tools and they are guided to make the complete process of design, from the idea to the final product, taking into account technology and production, with a high level of quality, details and design.

Workshops

He has develop a method for workshops where he teaches technology for design. The technologies, materials, and production methods are taught as inspiration sources for new projects, and are taught how to use them thanks to his know-how, based in the experience he had during his career, using a bast variety of different technologies for metals, plastics, wood, stone, etc, for the projects he had working on.

In workshops he teach the theory, and teach how to use it for the projects, where the students can apply it for they own projects.

The result is that the students are trained to work for real projects, as they would do working for design companies, knowing all the process, and taking into account the requests of the companies.
